The last time I checked, a well-crafted poll is supposed to consist of one question followed by a few options representing a variety of answers that were not all of them the same. Or at least, not all of them obviously biased to be answers you want to hear anyway. I mean, if you write [...]

Good Natured
January 26, 2009
Every now and again, you run across an article that completely blows your mind. And, in this case, the words below are much more clear and concise than I could possibly hope to be at this point. I’ve included the full text, and placed in boldface my favorite parts. This from the letters to the [...]
Kiss Me, I’m Gay
January 18, 2009
I’ve read this article about male-male makeout scenes in movies several times over the past few weeks, and it’s well worth the read. From the Washington Post (emphasis by JGI is added in bold):

December 12, 2008

Activists had billed Wednesday as “a day without a gay,” when gays and lesbians across the country would call in sick, boycott shopping and show the impact of their absence from everyday life.
Designed to be a protest against the Nov. 4 [...]
I’ll be supporting a day WITH a gay.
December 9, 2008
Tomorrow, December 10, is also being celebrated as Day Without a Gay. From their website:
The worldwide media attention surrounding our massive grassweb efforts for gay rights has been tremendous. Join the Impact was a HUGE success and will continue to thrive because of our efforts.
We’ve reacted to anti-gay ballot initiatives in California, Arizona Florida, and [...]
Various Commentary
November 30, 2008
Here’s a brief compilation of comments I’ve posted on others’ blogs that I just wanted to have chronicled for myself in one place:
11/7/08, 3:07am (post-election)
Just for the record, I’d like to state that I AM the product of a family who NEVER talked about homosexuality, and I still figured out that I’m gay. I shudder [...]
